Schotia Game Reserve Full DAY SAFARI (9 HOURS)

Enjoy a safari tour in Schotia Private Game Reserve, bordering the eastern side of Addo Elephant National Park. Schotia offers the possibility of viewing Africa’s ‘Big 5’ animals (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, and leopard) in their natural habitat, as well as giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. Schotia is a must-see destination in the Eastern Cape.

Addo Park FULL DAY SAFARI (9 HOURS)

Spend the day in the world renowned Addo Elephant Park with our qualified guides while they are on the search for the wildlife with their guests. Remember animals are constantly on the move and our guides do their best to get the ultimate sightings for our guests. The tour includes a braai/BBQ Lunch prepared in the Addo Park by your guide, snacks and drinks.

SUNSET SEA SAFARI

Take a drive with our guides on our open safari vehicle to the Sundays River Mouth. Here you are welcome to jump out of the vehicle, walk along the river towards the sea, watch the sun setting over the majestic sand dunes all while snacking on our delicious platters made by the A Taste of Africa Restaurant. A drink is included but you are welcome to bring your own.

Schotia Game Reserve and Addo Park Safaris

Answer the wildest call in the Eastern Cape to enjoy a half- or full-day wildlife safari tour of the Schotia Game Reserve or the Addo Elephant National Park – both are home to the Big Five, and the only parks in the world that is home to Africa’s Big Seven.

Schotia Private Game Reserve borders the eastern side of the Addo Elephant National Park. Schotia not only offers the possibility of viewing the ‘Big 5’ (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo and Leopard), but also features amazing animals such as the giraffe, hippo and crocodile. Our tours into Schotia Game Reserve will always be in our open safari vehicles, and our Addo Park tours will take place in our closed vehicle unless you are a guest at one of our accommodations.

At Sundays River Adventures our aim is to give you a fun, memorable and unique safari experience, so settle in with us for a full day of game viewing with a traditional braai (barbecue) lunch in the park.

If you’re short on time, we do have a half-day safari available. Fully immerse yourself in the safari experience as you seek out our game reserves’ natural treasures that will surprise and delight, while your qualified guide shares stories, safari tips and sightings from South Africa’s third-largest national park, Addo, and oldest reserve, Schotia, with the most biodiverse areas in the country.

Our sunset beach safari is an exceptional addition to any visit to the reserves. Guests are transferred to the coastal section of the national park to drink in the ocean air and a magnificent sunset perfected with a cool drink and a snack platter. There’s no better way to end a day in Addo!
